Look guys, it’s an ad for Ralph Lauren’s Purple Label which is paying homage to The Great Gatsby, well timed due to the new film release and because Ralph secured his place as a top designer by providing the costume for the 1974 Gatsby film so he’s essentially paying homage to himself. And why the fuck not.
On a side note, even if Ralph Lauren Polos have been over done and essentially ruined for me by many people in London wearing them and thinking they’re hard, it’s great to see some good tailoring. Always been a fan of their shirts, they introduced me to contrast collars.
